minimize disappears

Alright last night for some reason I right clicked on the divider on the top bar that is to the left of the network monitor icon.

Now banshee and instant messanger program doesn't bring up an icon up there when running. And there is no status of open windows on the bottom bar. When I minimize a program is just dissapears and I have to ctr tab to get it back.

So how do I get that divider back to the left of the network icon on the top right.

hi,
you probably removed the notification icon...

clic on the panel and choose add to the panel and and add a notification area icon (it's what you call, i presume, the divider)

Alright thanks that fixed the top part..I guess the bottom is somthing else



When I minimize somthing it just dissapears unless I crt tab to find it. So on the bottom bar there is nothing even with many open windows.
