    Plans for the Kentucky team

I came up with a few thoughts and wanted to get everyones input.

    1. Things we should be doing.
      1. Be active in the irc channel and on the forums.
      2. Hand out Ubuntu CDs whenever the opportunity comes up.

    2. How do we get new members?
      1. How do we get the news out about Ubuntu and the team?
      2. Mentor the ones that we do get.

    3. What type of events should we be involved in?
      1. Installfests?
      2. Release parties?
      3. Attend Linux expos in the area. There is one in Ohio in Sept every year.

What are your thoughts. If I have not mentioned something that you think would be good to do then post it here.
    Thanks,

    etank

YES to all of those ideas! I think those are some pretty solid foundations to build on.

    Good job, Eric!

I can promote it at my high school where they sell school supplies at lunch. Sounds lame but, hey.
