about the "new private message" window

the "welcome, user" thing on the right upper corner is cool, but there is a problem to it, and that is the new pm viewing. i mean, it just doesn't stick out that you have a new message.
for example, i gave a message to some guy, more than a week ago, and he only replied today because he didn't see he had a new message. i understand that not all people are like that, but it still would be pretty cool to have a little window sticking out right after you login saying you have a new message.

That is an option that you can enable in your User CP.

I use it and would love others to have it as default.

i didn't know about that. but like you said, it would be nice if this option were set by default
