Confirming this works in Debian lenny. One question though, while the panel itself is black (with white text for apps, places, system), how do i change the menu color (ie when you click apps and it shows the list with "Accessories", etc.) to black on white? which lines need be edited?
I only read a few pages of this thread because I'm looking for a fix related to this, but cant you do most of these changes these days in Gnome Color Chooser?
Hi. I was screwing around with themes and one of the ones that I installed seemed to change some of my backgrounds black and left my text black. I don't mind black backgrounds but I need to change the color of the text so that I can read it without having to highlight it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Most of the text is in nautilus, pidgin, gedit, etc... if that makes a difference.
Great post !!!!
It has worked fine for my computer.
Thank you very much !
Good-oh, worked for me from here in the future with Maverick!Your script works in Edgy as well. Here's the one I use personally, and it is also confirmed working in Edgy:
