    SQL and Ubuntu

    Hi,
Just wondering what types of database tools are good in Ubuntu. I want solid tools. Nothing Access like please. Also I would like to talk about ways to kind-of integrate the database into the linux code or something, just thinking out loud. Thank You Guys!

Here is official guide for database support in Ubuntu
    https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/serverg...databases.html

You can install any database that exists.... other than Microsoft SQL Server...

You can find the details instructions for each if you google it.

MySQL works well and the tools are good.

Do you have any more specifics, e.g. cost, size of database etc.?
