Phossal,
This is an easy-to-use, educational, well-written tutorial. I just wanted to say thanks for all the time you have put into it. It's great!

I am trying to install Java and Limewire and am having some difficulties.
I thought that i had Java installed, but upon going to the java site, I can still not view their icon which shows that I have Java installed. Also, I used aboutlugins in firefox and i did not see where java was an option to be enabled..
Any guided help for a newb would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks guys

I do not believe that I have Java installed correctly. Is there a way that I can check to see if it is funtioning as I will need the java to run/open limewire
edit: So I opened limewire and double clicked runlime.sh...and it just brought up a notepad box with java code and text...there was no where to click run?
I also tried to enter
sh ./runLime.sh
in the terminal and got nothing...
EDIT: ok, I was trying to access the limewire.zip folder on my desktop. i opened the limewire folder I just downloaded again and clicked runlime.sh, then selected run and nothing happened. Which leads me to believe something is wrong with the java I have installed or lack there of..
