All I did was installl jre1.5 from the plf repos. I have the blackdown and plf versions installed. Installed Firefox as per the wiki how-to and it worked.Originally Posted by 23meg

There are many bugfixes and nice new features in the new versions of t-bird. For example, there's a problem with 1.0.7 copying mail to IMAP Sent folders, which seems to have been resolved in 1.5. Version 1.5 can also also be set to beep with new mail, which I don't think is available in 1.0.7.
