Actually this isn't a very good place for design (no offense)...

I lost all faith in this forum when I saw people wow'ing over a weed plant with the text "ubuntu" slapped on.

I sense people are inclined to take the high moral road and offer encouragement and congrats to authors, even if they acknowledge in themselves that the piece is crap. I kinda like that about this place though, being one of the few places where you can post your efforts, no matter how meagre, without fear of ridicule. Though I do see some stuff that is simply not worthy of praise in any way shape or form and wish sometimes that people would step up to the plate and call people out on it, I generally like the attitude here. It's welcoming and supportive.

I know what you're saying, its great for praise but you also need to get constructive criticism. some of my early works i wish someone would've told me how bad they really were because i grow and get better from it.
