The Ubuntu Forums have grown tremendously over the years. While we regret that we are discontinuing our Other OS Talk category, this gives us an opportunity to help other Linux distributions grow by directing traffic to the websites of these distributions.

Here is a list of the official websites for the operating systems that used to have individual forums here. We hope you are able to find further assistance from there. And finally, if you haven't yet found what you are looking for, we suggest you look for information on the DistroWatch website or you might try the multi-distribution LinuxQuestions forum.

the motorola Scalpl (i think that's how it's spelt) runs by default some linux-based os. their e680 series does too. this definitely made me more interested in motorola products.

Re: HARDWARE Using a Motorola SLVR with Gentoo Linux

all the new motorola non-smartphones run on linux. most of the smartphones do too, but they're intended for asian markets as thats where they sell best.
its just a shame that the guy who heads the linux implementation is a java fanatic...hence JUIX. he truely believes that the future of appications is to be java based rather than running native linux apps. thats why linux on moto smartphones are so difficult to hack.
