    Ubuntu Posters - should I do a re-run in A2 format?

    Hello, dear forum community,

    As you might have noticed, I made and shipped out to you 500 beautiful Ubuntu Posters by Hannes Pasqualini. I'm out now, and there seems to be some demand for more, but I'd like to know if the demand is high enough.

    These posters would cost $2 apiece, plus $6 global shipping (including hard tube). In all other aspects, they would be identical to the first batch, more info here: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=296758

    Please consider pre-ordering by email to jenda at ubuntu dot com. Pre-paying is not necessary, unless you would like to donate to the project. See linked thread to see the financial evaluation for the previous run.

    Re: Ubuntu Posters - should I do a re-run in A2 format?

    Hi Jenda,

    I'm searching for advertisement posters for our shop here in Denmark.

    Apart from selling hardware and other electronic components, we would like to offer free backup, installation of Kubuntu, and restoring the backup onto Kubuntu. (I would love to limit this to only ONE distro)

    Criteria:

    * Kubuntu (Currently we do NOT support free ubuntu installations)
    * Listed benefits
    * ... in general, just a lot of eyecandy to attract customers.

    I have the resources to print them myself (I'm interested in A1 or bigger...)

    Do you know of any existing (editable) posters, or have a contact to a guy who can help me out?

    Please help! - I'm trying to fix bug #1!

    EDIT: Drop the hat!

    EDIT2: Do you support the forums, the ubuntu project itself, or what else this time?

    I think I'll buy some more posters

    How does the size compare to the previous ones (same, smaller, bigger?)?
    I don't know what that A2 is supposed to mean XD

    A2 is 42x59 cm (place 4 pieces of paper size A4 as a rectangle)

    42 = 2*width A4
    59 = 2*height A4

    Daller, I'll do my best to get a Kubuntu poster of similar qualities out some time in the future... currently it's over my bounds though.
    Hat dropped.
    I support mainly the marketing of Ubuntu, and the Marketing Team. That because I believe it's where I can best help UBuntu itself. I support the ubuntuforums casually.

    Can I request a Xubuntu version or be given permission to attack that one with Gimp and make my own Xubuntu version?

    I'm not interested in a standard poster, but a poster that tells a message specialized for our shop.

    We take a backup of the customers data, install kubuntu, and restores the data onto the newly installed system. FOR FREE!

    I'm currently searching for standard installs and tweaks, to make a full-featured system running as fast as possible (we do it for free - but my time could be used for a lot of other - more important things!)

    Maxamillion, hack away: doc.ubuntu.com/~marketing - you should find all you need, and I recommend inkscape.

    daller, that's some impressive service you've got there

    Well, giving away (k)ubuntu cd's everywhere, and giving it to everyone just doesn't do it! - According to my experience...

    People are still "scared" of trying it - I guess...

    Our service should deal with all of that! - No wasted CD's (Well - Less wasted CD's) And the part where people get scared should also be gone! - We get a good response to the service! - Happy customers is the only way to success! (except maybe monopoly...)

    Jenda - You seem to be quite an artist yourself! - Will you help me with a poster, or point me to a guy who will?
