Ubuntu's the best!!

Hello i Have been experimenting with other linux distros
and in my opinion ubuntu is the best "It just works!"

so i got the breezy badger 5.10 cd and was wondering if i could

get some useful links for my sources list and codecs and

stuff like that to optimize my desktop.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

search for restricted formats ubuntu in google... that wiki helps me alot.

I suggest you start upgrading to either Dapper or Edgy. Remember don't skip any of versions in between.

I don't really suggest it.... if you are happy with it stay with it for now. Then do a FULL reinstall when you seem to know a little more about linux.
And avoid edgy if you don't want bugs at all. Dapper is the way if you want hard core stability. But 5.10 served me very well and it is still supported.
