I decided I abandon the original software i was using on Xubuntu.info as it was very limited.

(but I admit, I didn't see what it looked like before so I can't comment on the layout change...)

The site looks nice, but I prefer the look and feel of the old one. But they're both fine.

Yea, the old layout was nice (besides some IE CSS issues I could never fix).

The main gripe I had was the integrated forum software was very limited. That was the main driving force behind the overhaul.

SMF forums is much more robust.
