Code:
sudo apt-get install pyneighborhood
then just run it with the command:
It is just a GUI application which you can configure. What I did - I have added machines that I am usually using. In preferences I have specified File Manager - Thunar. For mount folder - I use "$HOME/network" (I am not sure if it understands $HOME - so it is better to specify the whole path).
When everything is configured - you just click on the samba machine that you want to open - it will automatically mount it to ~/network (or any other folder that you specified). Then you do right click on that and select in popup menu - open with file manager - and Thunar will open that folder.
P.S. It is also possible to browse the network.
