I've been doing it for years. I also have Python installed on my phone, with handy packet manipulation scripts I've written so I can ... duh duh duh ... tunnel through DNS on my cell phone!

It's for windows obviously.. but I don't see any reason why someone couldn't cook up a linux version based on the vnc protocol that'd run over bluetooth
