Just downloaded a .RAR file
I went and downloaded the 6.10 version of ubuntu. I never used linux before. When I opened the .RAR file I don't know where to click next! So, I extracted it to a folder and...
A whole bunch of folders. I have start, .disk, bin, casper, and no installation or iso. |

first, open up Terminal (applications --> accessories --> Terminal) can you find it in

Ok, here is the question. Do you have to get version 6.06 before you get 6.10? If not, where in the .rar is the .iso file?

You can install Edgy, 6.10, directly so no need to install Dapper, 6.04, first. You have to download the ISO file, not the rar file and please do not unpack it. Just burn that ISO image directly with your burner and burn it as an image file, NOT a data file or you won't be able to boot. Again, if you want to follow every step from that guide, then download and install CDBurnXP first...
