It also worked for me. Good to see that there is a work around but it is kinda weird that it is this popular why not just eliminate it some how? Just a thought. Thanks all!

Once stuck at installing anthy, try this,
where xxxxx is the process id that ps gives you
for /usr/bin/mkworddic:

Alt-F2 #switch to a command line console
ps #type command "ps", then <Enter>
kill -9 xxxxx #type using process id from ps
Alt-F1 #go back to install screen

Install seems to nicely give up on anthy
and proceed from there.
Worked for me.
