Did you have success upgrading to Edgy?

Because Edgy was supposed to be more, well, "edgy", I wondered how things were going.

I'll try to turn this into a poll if I can figure out what button to press.

Re: Did you have success upgrading to Edgy?

problems with my edgy install:
Nvidia Driver Wont Load Correctly (Hopefully i'll Get it Workin' soon)
Some Themes Look "Wrong"(The Loading bar doesn't show up and some gtk2.0 themes dont look like gtk2.0 themes, actually, more like gtk1.0 themes; although that might be a gnome problem)

that's it, my only problems.
they can probably be fixed in an update

Re: Did you have success upgrading to Edgy?

wireless card stopped working => no internet access.

had to switch to use ndiswrapper. Apart from that, all ok.

(there seem to be a lot of people with this issue. my card, a netgear wg311t uses the atheros chipset which has worked perfectly under dapper, breezy, hoary..)

I was running the last beta and upgrade from that was no problem.

Comes to that, upgrade from dapper to the final beta was problem free as well.

Re: Did you have success upgrading to Edgy?

The upgrade caused an unstable system that forced me to reinstall.

No problems with the Aptitude upgrade from Dapper to Edgy. No wireless or advanced graphics in my system though.

Re: Did you have success upgrading to Edgy?

I made an apt-get upgrade and had problems with the samba package and with the xorg after install. Nothing that couldn't be fixed but it added 1 hour to the installation.
