Not quite but that's very good!
CHIMO!CHIMO is derived from the Inuktitut language. According to folklore, when two people met on the Canadian Arctic tundra, they rubbed their chests in a circular motion and said, "Chimo" , meaning "Are you friendly?" The answer was a repeat of the gesture and the word "Chimo!" ("Yes, I am friendly!)
The salutation has been adopted by the Canadian Military Engineers (CME), without the "chest thumping and rubbing", at least, most of the time, and when two engineers (or more) meet, the word will be definitely heard.
If you, on parting company with an engineer after first meeting her/him, - have been accorded the parting word "CHIMO", then be assured you have made a new friend, and have been deemed worthy to be a friend to the Canadian Military Engineer "Family."

Hi,
My second post on this thread. I've done some mix n match with various conkyrc files on this thread. came out pretty neat and simple. Got 2 issues with it.
1) process cpu% and mem% are never aligned...number display go back and forth
2) wireless never shows up

Thanks for responding idigchess
I am using ALLBLACK icon theme
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/sh...?content=70630
I developed that trash icon though
Regarding conky...I tried eth0 eth1 wlan0...I will try wlan1 and post back
Regarding the cpu% mem% alignment, the changing values under cpu% and mem% are not aligned as per their column caption and those values are not displayed in an aligned manner. They keep moving left and right as the values change.
I am sorry for my english
yayy....wlan1 worked for me..thank you very much my friend
That's because conkyForecast in its normal form only supports a 4-day forecast; there's a small tweak you can do to it to get 7 days: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...postcount=1508
The alignment is because you're not using a mono-spaced font. Conky aligns things based on number of characters, not actual character width. I would recommend using whatever font you want for most of it, and then for the bits that need specific lining up (e.g. for the cpu% and mem%), use a monospace font. There are some good ones out there; I like saxMono and Everson Mono Latin 6. Both can be found on dafont.com. Or you can always use Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, which is quite nice and comes with Ubuntu.
