I said WEATHER STATION, not Conky Weather Script. Had you lot read that, you would've seen, very plainly, that the screenshot was to show it's 30 degrees C where I am, and that the weather script was all I could show you to laugh at. I don't see how I could've shown you all the other weather station issues like the radio, TV, or digital cable weather features that were all crazy at the time.
That it wasn't a code thing, just a funny situation. Had I thought the code had broken, as you probably would know by now if you paid attention,

No one attacked you. Your code was, indeed, wrong. Even the developer of conkyForecast chimed in to point out the help output of the script where it shows what you had wrong.

I've had code corrected in this thread and in others but never thought I was being attacked. Even a calendar script I helped work on doesn't have much of my original code in it because better ways were found for nearly every part of the script. It wasn't even my script to start with but I made major changes to it and then several people in this thread made a ton of changes. Guess who won the little coding competition? Everyone who happened to want to use that calendar whether they contributed to it or not.

I was merely responding to other replies highlighting where to look and what current versus forecast data is with conkyForecast. Hopefully it was of use to someone.

Also apologies if it is not clear in the first post on the conkyForecast thread how the script works, a developer writing guides for his own software is not always the best option as he already knows how it works

I hope whatever issues there were are now resolved.

And as a side note, if anyone wants to add substance to the guidelines for the conkyForecast script, or any of the others I have threads for on here, then please PM me and I'll try to accommodate (when I have the time and inclination to)

I've updated my post a little to read better, I doubt I could offend your good self but I see how it could read wrong I quoted you as I can't quote him, he's on my ignore list and has been for ages along with one other....hence why I said I originally just responded to others responses and was definitely not on the attack....I only know what has been said through others comments and it will stay that way indefinitely to be honest - it's not worth the effort when constantly rubbed up the wrong way.

Hell I like the script so much that I look at my monitor before looking out the window when I want to know the weather.

Now I have my bike I have a rotating forecast for all the main towns in the area instead of just where my home is

Hey friend. When I am using "${execi 3600 conkyForecast --location=38683 --startday=0 --datatype=HT -i}" to get todays forecasted high temp it shows N/A. Is this just becuase of my area, or is there something else I am missing.

That location code looks wrong, it should be in the form UKXX0103 or similar, have a took at the script's thread here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=869328, in the first post it talks about how to search for your location code...it would also be a good idea to run the command in a terminal window first with the --verbose option set to see what is happening properly...just remove the --verbose when using in conky!

For any more forecast specific issues please post questions in the forecast thread, I may not be reading this one for much longer

Location code is correct for here in the USA, our postal mailing codes are used for weather forecasting locations. Everything else works great other then trying to get Forecasted High Temp. Ironically the Forecasted Low Temp does work.. LOL
I believe its something to do on the Weather Channels end.

Tried USTN0325 which is for Memphis TN about 50 miles away. Figured the more rural areas where I live that use postal codes may have less information. But I still getting same results. just N/A..

everything is in Liberation Mono:size=10
changing that would probably mean changing all the goto's ...and there are a lot of gotos!
(this is why i like lua, set the whole thing up so that you can change the font and fontsize and have everything automatically readjust for you )

@ Bandit. I do believe the NA for high temp is to be expected for the current day... i don't know if it is because the high temp was reached, so now high temp is indeed non applicable for today, or if it is a time thing, that after a certain time it is assumed that temps will not go any higher
