    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    I know what you mean, but it's odd since the $combine variable seems to have been invented for multiline output (the changelog specifically mentions RSS feeds). After all, if it's only for single line, what's the benefit of having $combine at all?

    Thanks for your help anyway though, looks like I'll just have to live without this one for a while.

    My new conky, borrowing a lot of ideas from this thread:

    conkytemplate, conkyforecast and amarok.sh
    vnstat, hddtemp and sensors for up/download statistics, hd- and cpu-temperature
    overlapping cpu graph for cpu 1 and 2 in red/firebrick4 red
    file system bars with diskiograph read (blue) and write (red) indication

    I think what I'm looking for just doesn't exist yet. I'd say there's a missed opportunity here to allow $combine to do something much more useful than it does just now, but I guess I'll just work around it.

    It's funny because the description it gives on the release notes makes you think it would be used in the way we have been trying.

    Nice. It's not stealing, however, if it's posted on a server where anyone can log in.

    I'm sure that anyone you've "borrowed" code from is quite happy that you found their work helpful.

    Ok after a bit of tweaking finally managed to make it a bit cleaner yet retaining most of the info that I needed.

    I have a problem with my deluge torrent info script.

    My script
    Code:

    do
            torrentinfo=`conkyDeluge -l0 | awk '$0 != "" {printf "%s; ",$0} $0 == "" {printf "\n"}' | head -$number | tail -1`
            name=`echo "$torrentinfo" | cut -d";" -f1`
