So this is my setup. it's a total ripoff from someone else on page 200something, so credit to whom ever that was.. I have done some changes and will add some other stuff later.

I would like to have the cpu graphs somewhat higher up, if someone can help me I would appreciate it.

You can use voffset to move objects up or down. Take a look at post #6088 for an example.

Lastly, I'm trying to get conky to stay on the left edge and around the middle but my panel (left edge, at the top and very wide but short) shifts it to the side because I don't have 'windows can cover' (and don't want it) selected. This is really annoying me! How do I fix this behaviour?

First, you will need to install feh from the repositories... then add the following to the bottom of your conkyrc:

    Code:
    ${texeci 1000 feh --bg-scale "`grep 'wallpaper=' ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc | tail -n1 | tail --bytes=+11`"}
That should do it... let me know if you want an explanation of WHY it works.
    But nothing hapends :S

    first: use_spacer:

    uppercase no
    cpu_avg_samples 2
    net_avg_samples 1
    override_utf8_locale no
    use_spacer yes
    color1 Ivory
    color2 GoldenRod
    color3 DarkGoldenRod
    from conkyrc settings:
use_spacer Adds spaces around certain objects to stop them from moving other things around. Arguments are left, right, and none (default). The old true/false values are deprecated and default to right/none respectively. Note that this only helps if you are using a mono font, such as Bitstream Vera Sans Mono.
The other problem is about battery, check your battery is named BAT0 in your system

About the background, you need install feh

Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

Hey, I could use some advice; My latest conky is below, but as you can see, the temp section doesn't really fit with the rest, any ideas on how to position things?

I wish there was a temp graph option. I have tried the generic "exec graph" function but since the temps rarely drop below 30, the graph looks bad.

Quick help. Is there a way to get Conky to be centered on the bottom of the Screen?
