    Got's a new conky for ya

    I stole lyrae's style.. (at least that's his name on Gnome-Look.)
    He is the author of many wonderful minimalist GTK2, Fluxbox, and Openbox themes.

    Feel free to modify if you think it doesn't show enough

    Here it is:

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    anybody use the variable hwmon from conky 1.46?

    This has the ability to display the contents of hwmon files located under "/sys/class/hwmon/hwmonX/device/N". For example, use ${hwmon 0 temp 1 input} to read the temperature of the CPU (in °C) from "/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/device/temp1_input". If the sensor name equals "temp", then the value read will be divided by 1000, otherwise the number will be used unchanged. The factor 1000 is just for the Abit uGuru sensor.
    My system has a "/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/device/temp1_input" entry that seems more accurate than the acpitemp variable, but so far haven't made this to work. The command
    Code:
    ${hwmon 0 temp 1 input}
    entry looks like:

    Any one else having this work correctly?

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    The the above question: I use acpi.
    The question regarding time format... I got that one in my rc I think...

    But here it is, such as it is. I used variable sources for the information (great thing about linux is there is always a reference somewhere) I had email working but I found that it stalled because conky loaded before my wireless was established. I saw a few posts regarding making a script and using "sleep 10 && conky" but couldnt get that to work but when I removed the email options the timing came right back.

    Comments are welcome
