    Does anyone know of any variable to control line spacing in conky, or do I just have to do a $voffset in front of every line to tighten it up?

    I've switched fonts, and now my conky runs off the bottom edge of the page.

    Just went through the manual, variables and settings and I see nothing.

    Is your conky set to open at the top of your screen, and then flows off the bottom?
    I guess it's ${voffset} or smaller font sizes, maybe.

    Have a nice day.

    well what would you like to know/what are you comparing it to?

    and could you also please use the attachment option with the forums instead of rapidshare for your screenshot?

    I agree with cl0ckwork, when I waited for 45 seconds and the screenshot still didn't show for me it was a bit much.

    Why not try ImageShack - it's 100% free.

    Saying that I have a feeling that conky can do a lot more then screenlets. Here's the latest screenshot I have showing 7 different conkys in action. ALL of the weather for Buenos Aires, today and a 4 day forecast, not the other locations, is done with just one conky command.

    Have a nice day.

    It's more efficient too, displaying text is much lighter on memory and CPU/GPU compared to displaying graphics.
    || Kubuntu x86_64 (15.10 Dev.) || KDE 4.9.00 ||
    || Dell Inspiron 570 || 8GB PC3-10600 DDR3 RAM || AMD Phenom II X4 820 @ 2.8Ghz ||
    || Logitech M570 Trackball || Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard ||
    Conky: ... no such configuration: 'normal'

    Beat me to it. Screenlets dragged down my system.

    Do you happen to have some benchmark info? I'm just curious since I did a reinstall before using conky and never compared directly -- don't go out of your way if you don't have the info.
