It's a Mac theme. Does go nicely with mac4lin. I tend to like dark Ubuntu themes and Conkys, but thought I'd try something different.

Hey guys, I am using someone's config from here, just modified little bit, but problem I have (it's not the only config with this problem) that after some amount of time (15-60mins) Conky becomes all blurred out, and I need to restart it. Here is the picture of it: http://i.imgur.com/HcGPbZb.png

Please spare me 2 weeks of reading the 2284 pages Sector 11 has posted on. Can you post on page 2285 the three best looking (and hopefully useful) conky's for Desktop, Power User and Laptop user. Just for me can you post the one that fits on the bottom of the screen about 100 pixels high so I can use it just for my environment?

    Please AND Thanks

Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    thanks Sector!

Just some notes: first, my CPU temp was showing correctly with 'acpitemp' so what is the reason behind changing something? And second own_window_type_normal makes my Conky disappear when I activate Show desktop, so I am leaving 'override'?

Also for some reason my window was too wide, so I added 'maximum_width 300' and 'minimum_size 300', so now it's good, but network graphs are not aligned correctly - DL graphs takes more space, I even copied my earlier code for graphs but it's still same. It looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/NgzcB3I.png

    P.s. I also noticed you added ${goto 215}.

EDIT: my Conky is blurred once again :/

You could install conky manager which has numerous configs you can look through.

    Code:
    sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:teejee2008/ppa
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install conky-manager
Then download the theme pack from the conky-manager home page.
    http://www.teejeetech.in/p/conky-manager.html
http://www.mediafire.com/download/ic...xtra-1.cmtp.7z <-------direct link to theme pack download

Use the import theme button in conky manager to install.

Great advise. I had looked at the conky home page and it only had 6 pretty lame examples from a few years ago. It's awesome many websites have very slick examples. I did find one that only takes up 10 pixels at the bottom of the screen which could be customized.

    Many thanks for the advise.

    What DE are you using.
You can make conkys to sit over blank panel space to show system info.
eg in unity I use conky like panel applets so info is always in view without losing any screen area.
