    Instead of SED's, maybe one GAWK script to clear HTML source?
    Code:
    curl -s "http://www.accuweather.com/en/it/rome/213490/daily-weather-forecast/213490" >/tmp/accuweather.log
    accuweather.awk /tmp.accuweather.log >/tmp/first_days
    and here is "accuweather.awk":
    Code:
    #! /usr/bin/gawk -f

    BEGIN{ startF=0; startD=0; descS=0; statS=0 }

    /checked/ && /updateUnits/ {

    	if (test[1] == "celsius")
    		uniT="°C"
    	else

    @S11:
    I'd be obliged if you could thank Petro Dawg for me.
    The fix as of 6 Jan 2014 is here.

    Teo says Thank you Petro Dawg.

    Let me add my thanks as well, Petro Dawg.
    I have all of his scripts here, but rarely venture into the land of the font scripts.

    I'm waiting until wun is out of DEV or BETA.
    There's so many instructions floating around #!, it's driving me mad. MrPeachy does a wonderful job of documenting too, so I can only assume (oh yes I did) it must be "me".
    Stupid "llua_call_something" + "nil value" message.

    When it shows up on the Pitstop, then I'll re-attempt.

    OH if you only knew how many times - in open forums and PM's I have asked "How do I ...?" - sometimes the same Q repeatedly

    I was sure at times I was driving mrpeachy M·A·D ...

    I've just about caught up but can't get the images working ... but others have. So in part ... we're sharing seats in the same boat!

    Look at these:

    There are a few places (3) that need your personal touch ... ie:

    1. wun_config.lua
    Code:
    key="your key here",

    -- one of a few forms of location
    --location="Habitual's ZIP Code"
    --location="autoip",
    --location="zmw:00000.1.87582",
    location="Argentina/Buenos_Aires",
    --location="-34.576511,-58.453884" -- Not working  :(

    -- OK, default is EN
    language="EN",--set langauge here
    --language="SP",--set langauge here

    -- set a path to the icons - I must talk to mrpeachy - everything but this works.
    --weathericons="/media/5/wun4/additional_files/weathericons/",
    weathericons="/media/5/wun4/additional_files/weathericons/wicons/",
    2. iweather.lua - somewhere near line 70 (I've added some comments):
    Code:
    --########################################################################################
    --END OF BUTTON CODE ----END OF BUTTON CODE ----END OF BUTTON CODE ---
    --#######################################################################
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/media/5/wun4/additional_files/bgG.png"})
    3. wun.lua
    Code:
    local username = os.getenv("USERNAME")
    --you can enter your username here in case of errors,
    enter username in quotes like this username = "yourname"
    local username = "habitual"
    package.path = '/home/'..username..'/wun/wun_config.lua'
    Try those.

    Also: OFFICIAL WUN HOW TO POST <--- it all starts there now.
    ... set the proper path to the background image - I've edited the image as well ... yours could quite possibly be:
    Code:
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/habitual/wun/additional_files/bg.png"})

    for anyone interested in the Wun Weather Lua Script, you can follow its progress and get help in a new thread
    http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=31306

    I think Wun is pretty much done in terms of the basics
    any further updates will be bug fixes and additional features.
    Everything that is set up in the archive in the first post of the link above will remain constant unless there is a significant reason to change it

    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/habitual/wun/additional_files/bg.png"})
    wrt:
    1.) I used my anvil key in wun_config.lua and zipcode in location= # So far, so good.
    2.) image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png"}) # no bg displayed
    3.) local username = jj # So far, so good.
    package.path = '/home/jj/wun/wun_config.lua' # So far, so good here also

    seems to "work".
    I still do not get a resemblence of /home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png on the output.
    But I do have weathericons/wicons in the display.

    I'm sure that this is as difficult to you or I as is "regular conky" is to a new user of conky, so let's all take a deep breath and relax.

    With the zip code bringing in the expected data, I can eek out other stuff later.
    I can force "Location: Yawnstown, OH" under TEXT in wunrc, but that's a hack and not the way I want to do it.

    You missed a comma in
    --location="Habitual's ZIP Code",
    <neener_read_the_docs>

    Thanks!

    It exists though right?
    /home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png

    can you call another image?

    1. Copy and past the line in iweather.lua below itself:
    Code:
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png"})
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png"})
    2. Now make a change in the the second line to point to an existing image on your computer:
    Code:
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/home/jj/wun/additional_files/bg.png"})
    image({x=0,y=0,w=376,h=265*(620/421),file="/media/5/Conky/images/red+x.png"})
    That second image should show over the original...
    - remove 2nd line ->

    BUT: OH/Yawnstown will ... see:

    What it doesn't say there but hints at: city hanes with spaces ... use a _ in the space.

    OH right ... NOW he tells me read the doc's.

    my 1px images archive I use for conky (red+x.png) is in there.

    I think I know you --- you'll make a masterpiece out of it I'm sure!

    EDIT: DUH! Of course you don't get the bg.png, you are not using the interactive script ... your format doesn't use the image.

    I'm sorry, I think maybe you zigged & zagged & spun around a few times 'then' followed Andy Capp into the canal ...

    Also your layout resembles: ~/wun/wun_template.lua ... not ~/wun/iweather.lua
