Of course there is plenty to add or adjust, but at least you guys helped me get on the right track to get there. Thanks a ton for that. Thanks to you guys I know have a conky that is really close to what I like. The rest will just be a matter of time.

I found it in the february desktops thread though, I don't have the patience needed to browse deviantart.

About the weather script, I'll keep it in mind thanks. But I'll be left with no internet come next week and for some time so there's no point in installing it now.

Oh I will be on dialup. I'd get withdrawal symptoms without even that.

BTW I have some infrequent flickers with conky. I have double buffer on and such. Is there anything else I should check? I'm on gutsy with compiz.

I only get that when restarting Conky after changing the configuration... it goes away after logging out and then back in. BTW I have double buffer enabled too.

Anyway I also found that the flicker goes away after disabling the desktop ... in a way (making it not show anything but the wallpaper, not even right click works). It can be done by opening :

gconf-editor

and going to apps->nautilus->preferences-> unchecking show_desktop

Thanks, I'll see to it. I actually haven't restarted since I last edited conkyrc. If that doesn't work, I'll disable the desktop which I rarely use anyway.

here you go, it's the zekton font.

just extract those files to ~/.font/

in your home folder.
