    ones that are law abiding and non copy right infringing of course
    all the ones I've googled haven't worked so figure they are just obsolete.

    Truthfully... I very seldom get a request for a wall -- maybe 1-in-4, and it's one of the ways I judge if I'm being effective.

    My Conky is an open book. I don't hold anything back, except my IP addy, Weather.com keys, and so forth.

    If they want to know where I get my backgrounds, all they have to do is ask.

    BTW, I usually manipulate my walls using Gimp, so even if I was to bore everyone with linkage to the backgrounds, they aren't necessarily identical to mine. I don't use 'canned' images.

    Anyway, if you like something you see, just let me know and I'll furnish the URL to the original.

    @Arminius, there are plenty of RSS feeds for TV schedules, but none of them work perfectly. For one major reason, and it doesn't have a single thing to do with copywrite infringement. There are several hundred countries in the world that watch TV, several thousand channels to watch world wide, and zero websites that can keep up with all of that data without a dynamic web page to display it all. There are several that work in the USA alone, but that's where it's usefulness ends. In order for an RSS feed to work, it has to pull the same data, from the same exact page, every time. Dynamic pages for all that TV data means that it's never the same page twice, killing the RSS feed.

    Another one that you may want to move on from I'm afraid. I see you've got some grand ideas for your setup! Keep the creativity going. These are just little hurdles to get through, figure something else out for that space.

    @VinDSL, Indeed you are forthcoming with your pages and setup! I just see it so often that I think it's time you left a tiny note when you post your setups. For the fans, so to speak. This isn't so much about laziness, necessity, or even what's right. It's more of a case of "It's about time you did it, Mr. Popular!" Just a suggestion really. It's one of those things many of us just think make sense. Much like kaivalagi, you are very well respected here, and are one of the first sources many people go to when they want that one accent or special thing for their setup.

    So I am posting my conky files and a screen shot. I have everything working pretty well except that the root and home folders % used numbers are 93% for both, which if you do the math is obviously wrong. The wireless area is also incorrect. The IP numbers and Down/Up bars are both correct just the other info and signal strength is incorrect. Appreciate any help.

    It looks like your / and /home are not separate partitions (as opposed to folders). In a terminal, what is the output of:
