    What is the VinDSL_Cal for in the following?

    Code:
    ${execpi 60 VinDSL_Cal= cal (snip)}

    Here's the one I'm currently using, couldn't get the centering to work with your listed example ('m doing day/month in a different way, just trying to get the actual calendar days/dates/calendar to format right):

    Code:
    ${execpi 60 DJS=`date +%_d`; cal | sed '1d' | sed '/./!d' | sed 's/$/                     /' | fold -w 21 | sed -n '/^.\{21\}/p' | sed 's/^/ /' | sed /" $DJS "/s/" $DJS "/" "'${color2}'"$DJS"'${color1}'" "/}
    My apologies if it's not your creation...I thought it was

    I'm a desert rat (a local saying). 90º-95º F is perfect daytime temps, IMO.

    88º (air) & 92º (water) are supposed to be optimal for humans, to maintain 98.6º (body temp). Otherwise, you're fighting your environment.

    I'm just a little more 'warm blooded' than most.

    Nothing against the graphics. I just prefer silhouettes - that's all.

    Oh, okay. I abandoned that code a while back. It's flawed, and requires 21 spaces to be inserted, to make it work.

    Also, if I remember correctly, it doesn't highlight the 13th day of the month, for some odd reason. I suggest trying the newest calendar code.

    "DJS" was the author's initials. Mine contains the "VinDSL_Cal" monicker.

    Actually, I should specify the version...

    Code:
    ##################
    ##   CALENDAR   ##
    ##################
    ${voffset 5}${font WenQuanYiMicroHei:bold:size=8.75}${color4}DATE${offset 8}${color8}${hr 2}
    ${voffset 4}${font LiberationSansBold:size=9.6}${color4}${alignc 5}${execpi 60 VinDSL_Cal3= date +'%B${offset 6}%Y'}
    ${voffset 3}${font LiberationMono:size=9.5}${color3}${execpi 60 VinDSL_Cal3= cal | sed '1d' | sed s/^/"\$\{offset 37"\}/ | sed '/^ *$/d' | sed 's/\<'"$(date +%-d)"'\>/${color4}&${color3}/'}
    Thanks, for the idea!

    I'm a Canuck - 15°-20° (59 - 68°F) are comfortable for me.
    And have known days -32° to -40°C soooooooooo....
    I'm in a T-shirt and people here are wearing "lined" coats here at 15°.

    That's a great idea: coded vanity/version number all in one shot!

    Sure, why not? I'm currently gathering pics of my two favorite gravure models, Aki Hoshino and Yuko Ogura, for a BG slide-show so I'm not constantly changing my BG.
