just add the execi to the lua script and see if it works.

...Yeah... I'd love to... but I've never done lua before, and I'm completely lost. Hence why I ask if it would work first, to see if I'm barking up a tree like a crazy person or not. I really haven't a clue what I'm doing here. WAY beyond me right now, trying to learn, hoping there's a guide or me, or something to read to get me off to the right start.

Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Hey guys,

I have been using a screenlet (infopanel) recently but now I'm playing around with conky. I got a setup going based on VinDSL I've been looking at. I am just going to add a section for my graphics card. I'm not quite sure how to do it though I found a bit of information on how to get it done from this post but I was hoping someone can help out. What I want is pretty much the same thing that infopanel has which currently is:

    GPU: GeForce GTS 250
    RAM: 512 MB
    GPU Driver: 260.19.06
    Resolution: 1920x1080
    Refresh rate: 60.00 Hz
    GPU frequency: 740 MHz
    MEM Frequency: 1100 MHz
    nVidia temp:

Don't care so much for the refresh rate. But I would like the rest. I don't need help for formatting, just the script to get those information. I also have another system with an ATI card, would it be the same more or less to get the same information for an ATI card? If not how would I get the same information for an ATI card.

Thanks a lot! I'll keep trying to figure it out in the mean time.

    Hello.
Thanks a lot for your work, I love what you did and use your conf on my laptop.

I have just 2 calendar related request if possible:
    - How to make the calendar start with Monday ( European guy)
    - How to make Saturdays and Sundays have a different color making the weekend more obvious.

the first 2 lines are a lua timer functioning similar to execi (thats why the conky lines are exec)
then each line parses a command via conky and saves it as a string
then the info in the string can be fed to a bar or ring or whatever

i cant currently write lua scripts or use conky, otherwise I would like to have a go at getting your vnstat data working...

if you get multiple data from a script (above i get individual weather data from each line) then you would have to break the data up so that one string hold one number
