    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Have one problem. I posted something similar above in one post. If i use three conkys, after some time/when i left computer (running no programs)-let say, after 20-30 minutes, ram usage goes about 20-25%, and ram also. Normally it stays at about 12-15 %.
    So this usage increasing is noticeable after 20-30 min.
    If i restart conky, everything is ok-usage goes down.
    So, is it some displaying problem or some processes are causing this?

    And, yes, i noticed that 2-3 conky instances are to be seen-before that-conky is never among 4 most used processes.

    (p.s. didn´t notice this with only one conky running)

    I have not been able to find the answer to this...

    My weather script in conky is working well, but everything is displaying as Celsius and I am looking for Fahrenheit.... Anyone have a clue how to change it? Here is my weather script from within conky...

    It's probably a memory leak in the draw_bg script, to be honest. Try either using Conky Widgets to draw your rectangles, because it destroys the Cairo drawing surface after each call, or you can add
    Code:
    cairo_destroy(cr)
    as the last line in the draw_bg function. Let me know if that doesn't fix it!

    I just saw that i have conky widgets script in my /scripts/- but have no idea how to make the draw three background in my conky...

    Ok, as first solution i added cairo_destroy(cr) at the end of draw_bg.lua

    Code:
    --[[
    Background by londonali1010 (2009)

    This script draws a background to the Conky window. It covers the whole of the Conky window, but you can specify rounded corners, if you wish.

    To call this script in Conky, use (assuming you have saved this script to ~/scripts/):
    	lua_load ~/scripts/draw_bg.lua
    	lua_draw_hook_pre

    Changelog:
    + v1.0 -- Original release (07.10.2009)
    ]]

    -- Change these settings to affect your background.
    -- "corner_r" is the radius, in pixels, of the rounded corners. If you don't want rounded corners, use 0.

    corner_r=25

    -- Set the colour and transparency (alpha) of your background.

    bg_colour=0x000000
    bg_alpha=0.3

    require 'cairo'
    function rgb_to_r_g_b(colour,alpha)
    	return ((colour / 0x10000) % 0x100) / 255., ((colour / 0x100) % 0x100) / 255., (colour % 0x100) / 255., alpha
    end

    function conky_draw_bg()
    	if conky_window==nil then return end
    	local w=conky_window.width
    	local h=conky_window.height
    	local cs=cairo_xlib_surface_create(conky_window.display, conky_window.drawable, conky_window.visual, w, h)
    	cr=cairo_create(cs)

    	cairo_move_to(cr,corner_r,0)
    	cairo_line_to(cr,w-corner_r,0)
    	cairo_curve_to(cr,w,0,w,0,w,corner_r)
    	cairo_line_to(cr,w,h-corner_r)
    	cairo_curve_to(cr,w,h,w,h,w-corner_r,h)
    	cairo_line_to(cr,corner_r,h)
    	cairo_curve_to(cr,0,h,0,h,0,h-corner_r)
    	cairo_line_to(cr,0,corner_r)
    	cairo_curve_to(cr,0,0,0,0,corner_r,0)
    	cairo_close_path(cr)

    	cairo_set_source_rgba(cr,rgb_to_r_g_b(bg_colour,bg_alpha))
    	cairo_fill(cr)
    end
    cairo_destroy(cr)

    I've noticed such bechavior once but since couldn't reproduce it after reboot then it is only long shot but try to edit your LUA script and delete every stance of "local" from variable definitions.

    Don´t know what to do. You mwan to delete those bold lines:

    Add --imperial after each instance of datatype.

    This is from the 6th & 7th lines of your code:

    Code:
    ${font} ${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=7}Temp:${font} ${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=15}${execi 1800 conkyForecast --location=USOR0237 --datatype=HT --hideunits}${font}${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=8}c${font}
    And this is what it should look like:

    Code:
    ${font} ${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=7}Temp:${font} ${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=15}${execi 1800 conkyForecast --location=USOR0237 --datatype=HT --imperial --hideunits}${font}${font Dejavu Sans Considered:size=8}c${font}

    Nope, that would break the lua script

    Just remove the local part of the variable declaration so they're not local anymore, e.g. remove the bold/red below:

    Code:

    	local w=conky_window.width
    	local h=conky_window.height
    	local cs=cairo_xlib_surface_create(conky_window.display, conky_window.drawable, conky_window.visual, w, h)
