Apparently, I am an idiot and this did not work out. I copied the contents of the first code to my .conkyrc file after renaming the original file. The script and lang files were also copied in the same folder. but still my conky is the old one. I am sure that you have explained it very clearly and it is me who misses the point. I do not know the abcd of conky setup. That is the matter.
How can I use a signature in forums?

Did you make the calendar script executable?
    In a terminal:
    Code:
    chmod +x conkycal.sh
You also have to restart conky to get it to use the new .conkyrc
    Code:
    killall conky
    conky

    Hi Iceman,

Can you please share the scripts and conky content to have something similar to image 1 and image 4 in your post? It is really beautiful and I want to replace my current conky (conky-colors) with this one.

Specially if you have a way to merge image 1 and image 4 into one conky script. it is wonderful
    Ubuntu 10.04
