    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    I have mine setup in 3 different places in my desktop:
    .conkyrc shows CPU and memory usage;
    .conkyrc2 shows time and uptime and
    .conkyrc3 shows email.

    They are all called by a script at the login.

    conkysh

    #!/bin/bash
    sleep 30 &&

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    My conky is a basic setup, with system info, CPU and memory stats, a fortune, and the output from my homemade grade monitoring script. Blue and black go nicely with all my backgrounds .

    Code:
    # conky.rc

    conky shows me more accurate batt readings than g-p-m does. g-p-m shows about 1.50 hr for battery life after i unplug, while conky/acpi shows 2.50 hr.

    Unsure why that is. idk if g-p-m uses apm instead of acpi or what.

    I've gone ahead and removed my batt % and time remaining from my conky for now. Regardless of how much time conky says I have left, the batt icon will do a force shut-down when it thinks it's time.

    Yeah, I think it's g-p-m doing *that*. It gets very annoying.

    Be aware of what you enter into the terminal. Ask for clarification if you are unsure what a command does.

    3 Swaps Use I have anything too?
    4 how to integrate XMMS in conky?

    5 Ahhh yes most important it is that the icons on my Desk are
    invisible! I must pass with the pointer above the icons to see the
    icons but its once immediately the pointer except icons disparait!
