Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    First thing Hi

I'm just starting to use conky and I had some problems but thanks to lurking here I solved many of the problems, except one. I want to use other font for my conkyrc file and at first I succeeded, didn't like it, changed the font again and since that it doesn't update any of the font changes I've done (just to test it if they were done). I've used fixed width fonts and I've reloaded the font cache too. Anybody can see where's the mistake ?

    Here's the conkyrc file

    Code:
    #conkyrc en progreso

    #Tiempo actualizacion

    update_interval 1.0

    double_buffer yes

    #Crear Ventana ?

    own_window yes # Si
    #own_window_class # Manually set the WM_CLASS name
#own_window_colour # If own_window_transparent no, set a specified background colour
own_window_hints undecorated,below,skip_taskbar # Window hints to use if own_window yes
#own_window_title # Manually set the window name
    own_window_transparent yes # Transparente ?
own_window_type override # Sets type of window
    out_to_console no

    double_buffer yes

    maximum_width 250
    default_color white

    # No dibujar bordes

    draw_borders no

    # No dibujar sombras

    draw_shades no

    alignment top_right
    #alignment top_left
    #alignment bottom_left
    #alignment bottom_right

    # No usar mayusculas

Right, I just meant natively but your right Bruce it can be done. I am getting the impression that it can ALWAYS be done.

Thanks, Bruce! Definitely not something I would have ever figured out on my own, but a pretty creative way to get it done. Prolly hack away at that project tomorrow afternoon, if it comes out good I'll post a shot!

I don't see anything out of place that would cause a problem like that (at a quick glance-I'm off to bed) but try changing the one line you actually call a font below TEXT to this:

    Code:
    ${color white}${font openlogos:size=80}${alignc}v${font}
    See what that does.

    Buenos noches.

I wish, that phone internet tablet (you can also use as a phone) is already too tempting without conky. It runs debian based maemo so I guess it can be done somehow. Maybe it's already been tried on one of it's predecessors n770, n800 or n810.

Thanks, I'm still on Jaunty. What's with the notice about build failures in the Jaunty repo there?

EDIT: nm, got the latest installed.
