    there is an exclusion section, some other settings and general tidying up
    Sorry to be a pain but I've hit a prob with the script, at first I thought it was where it excluded apt and left a space but when connecting more cards it seems not to be the case, I have no clue how to even begin looking into it, the picture can explain it better than i can....

    The code you are looking in launchpad.com is only for accuweather module processing. The rings which you want to get is uploaded below,

    interesting... so you have 4 drives that should show, and it looks like te images are all showing in the right place, but the text is getting shifted down too far?
    are you getting the diskiographs displayed?

    can you post the lua script you are running?

    dont worry about being a pain, your not

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    it was a mistake with the voffset calculations
    ive updated the code again http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...ostcount=19218

    when i tested originally i only had 2 drives to mount, but then you only see the bug when you mount more than 2

    2 lines need to be edited
    line 97 should now be this
    Code:
        command_line[i]="${voffset "..gap_between_entries-voffset1.."}${goto "..goto1.."}${image "..image_file.." -p "..im_tl_x..","..im_tl_y+(gap_between_entries*(i-1)).." -s "..im_height.."x"..im_width.."}${diskiograph "..device.." "..dio_height..","..dio_width.." "..col1.." "..col2.."}${color}${goto "..goto2.."}${voffset "..voffset1.."}${font} "..mountname.." ${goto "..goto3.."}${fs_type "..mount_directory..mounted[i].."}${goto "..goto4.."}${fs_size "..mount_directory..mounted[i].."}${goto "..goto5.."}${fs_free_perc "..mount_directory..mounted[i].."}%${goto "..goto6.."}${fs_free "..mount_directory..mounted[i].."}"
    and line 100 should be this
    Code:
    return "${voffset "..voffset0-gap_between_entries+voffset1.."}"..table.concat(command_line).."${voffset "..voffset2.."}"

    Personal note from me to anyone new to dealing with mrpeachy. NEVER, And I mean NEVER feel useless, dumb, or like you're wasting his time. It's hard to tell through the text, but he genuinely gets a kick of out of a challenge. So, YOU may see it as trivial, or stupid, but mrpeachy doesn't. He will never hate you for this stuff unless you insult him directly.

    No. I'm not kidding or trying to get on his good side. There are a lot of us who have put the guy through hell with tiny problems in LUA scripts. The guy's unstoppable. Even when he gets stumped by something, or admits he doesn't know, he's amazing about it. He refuses to be anything other than humble about his skills, so there are those of us in the Conky world who do his bragging for him.

    Trust me. Under the tutelage of mrpeachy, you will be shocked at how much you're able to learn. You won't even realise what's going on, you'll just kinda suddenly know stuff. Other LUA pros around here are really good at what they do, but they at least acknowledge they're awesome. mrpeachy, for reasons I'll never understand, remains humble.

    [SOLVED]

    Hi friends,

    I need your help please.

    I installed on my xubuntu 11.10 conky from synaptic, and did a .conkyrc file, but is not working well. The fonts are not refreshing and The letters are overwritten on the previous.
    And the background is selected yes but is black.

    This is my conkyrc file, but with other the problem is the same.

    Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

    Hi, I'm trying to color the output of a script (which gives me torrent speed) in conky. The script runs fine when the output is in double/triple digits (e.g. 21, 123) but when its in single digits, conky starts putting out two copies of the same number in diff colors (attached screenshot).

    Here's the relevant conky code:

    Code:
    ${color grey}TRANSMISSION ${hr 2}$color
    ${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans.sh} | ${if_match ${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} <= 9}${color red}${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh}${color}${endif}${if_match {execi 5 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} >= 10}${if_match ${execi 5 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} <=49}${color orange}${execi 5 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh}${color}${endif}${endif}${if_match ${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} >= 50}${if_match ${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} <=99}${color yellow}${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh}${color}${endif}${endif}${if_match ${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh} >= 100}${color green}${execi 10 /home/saad/conkytrans_d.sh}${color}${endif} Kbps
    Here's the conkytrans_d.sh script the code is calling:

    Code:
    #/bin/sh
    #conkytrans.sh

    #transmission info in conky
    host=127.0.0.1         #host:port

    for number in `transmission-remote -l | awk '{print $1}' | sed '1d;$d'`
    do
    torrentinfo=`transmission-remote "$host" -t $number -i`
    download=`echo "$torrentinfo" | grep "Download Speed" | sed 's/\ \ Download\ Speed:\ //' | sed 's/.\{6\}$//'`
    echo $download
    done
    How do I fix this?
