automatic background changer

hey all i was wonderin if there was a way to automatically change my desktop background, kind of like in osx.
the easiest was i could imagine would be a little script, but i cant write script to save my life.
can any of you codeheads lend a hand?

I use this one I found on some site a long ago (attached file). The credits of this one goes to Davyd Madeley, the copyright owner of the script.

I have this script on my bin folder and have cron running it every 30 minutes.

From Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10, it has "Desktop Drapes", just install it through "Add/Remove...".

There is also an app called webilder, downloads images from flicker and use it as background.

wallpaper-tray is in de repo's

wallpapoz and drapes always crash on my system
