Weird. Doesn't Eclipse require the Java VM to simply run anyway? I would check my environment to see if the right java dirs are listed, then go through the various eclipse settings to see if there's anything wrong there.

    Re: Java VM help

    Hello,
I remember that I read a similar problem previously in ubuntu forums. Try to write eclipse in the search box of the forums (do it not only in this forums, but also in the general page). It is related, if I remember well, to a problem when eclipse research the jvm in the system and that vm is not the first to be searched.
