    Change /var/cache/apt

    Hi,
    i would like to know if it is possible to move the /var/cache/apt directory of apt archives to another directory.

    I've never tried that but I think it's possible to symlink /var/cache/apt/archives to another location.
    Correct me if wrong.

    Hi,
    thanks. I forgot to post it here... because i've done in this way..... I think there is also the possibility to change the repository dir with apt-config but my tests were unsuccessful.
