point of sale on ubuntu
i am setting up 'php Pointof Sale' http://www.phppointofsale.com/index....t_Of_Sale_Home on ubuntu 6.06 at work (small retail health food store). i have it working with scanning bar codes and it prints the receipt but as a full page receipt. i need it to print on a receipt printer and to open the cash drawer.
here's my question does ubuntu/linux support receipt printers and if so what brand should i be looking for. have done google searches but nothing so far. have also posted on the phppos forums to see if i can get some help there. saw what might work with the cash drawer but my main concern would still be getting a receipt printer to work in ubuntu.
