    Periodic Table program?

    I'm looking for a good periodic table program. There is only one in the repositories, and to tell the truth, it isn't too good (Gperiodic). I'd like to have a program with a good amount of information displayed without having to mouse over each element to see things such as electron count and atomic weight. Granted, Gperiodic does give a whole lot of info after clicking on an element, but I'd like to be able to glance at it quickly as I would a printed copy of the periodic table.

    So, does anyone have a suggestion for some good periodic table software for linux?

    Thanks,

    Will web-based do? I found it by using google to search for "interactive periodic table". If you do the same you can investigate all the other links. I'm sure someone has written one using sleek "web 2.0" buzzwords and functionality.

    A pirated copy of Windows is only free if your time is worthless.

    * Launchpad

    Wow, thanks a lot for the tip. Kalzium is great!

    They should include the phrase "periodic table" in it's description. Just "Chemistry teaching tool for KDE" isn't very specific. Who's going to search for something like that?

    anyway, thanks a lot! =D>

    P.S. - I like your sig, jonzep
