Under the Ubuntu Cafe, there are alot of other subforums. Could the new linux forums (Debian, Slackware, openSuSE, ect.) be out under the "Other Linux" subforum ? It looks really cluttered and you have ti scroll down a long way to see the cafe.

agreed
I also have another suggestion. Maybe put the Resolution Center and Forum Discusstion under one forum.
This is the Ubuntu Forums.
Gentoo and the rest have their own forums.
They have their own admins and their own methods for covering their server costs.
If Ubuntu is looking for cash to help with the forum backups why are they increasing the problem by adding more stuff that isn't even related to Ubuntu?
Gentoo has a fine forum. Fine probably doesn't even give it justice to how great it is. I'm sure the other 50 distros that got put up have fine forums as well. Don't bother putting up sub-forums for other distros.

This is one of the biggest Linux communities on the net and theres alot of people here who are here because they like the friendless of the community and not because they use Ubuntu. But I think it'd be a better idea just to put all the other distros under the Other OS section like Owned said, that forum (Other OS) doens't get alot of attention the way it is now, why would you want to spread that lack of activity from 1 forum where it's not that active to 6?
But if they must have subforums for each distro seperately instaed of having Debian, Redhat/Fedora, Slackware, OpenSuSE, MacOSX, and Gentoo each having their own forum, some of which aren't even fair because why do all the Debian distros have to share 1 forum when Gentoo, Slackware, and OpenSuSE one all to themselves why not have each forum based on the package management it uses.
Instaed of Fedora/Redhat we could have an "RPM based distrobution discusssion" and it could list all of the major RPM based distros under it. RHEL, Fedora, CentOS, SuSE, OpenSuSE. Debian to .deb distrobutions, Slackware discussion could be changed into "tarball zip distrobutions", SuSE/OpenSuSE could be merged itno RPM, MacOSX would stay the same, and Gentoo could be changed itno "Source based distributions"
To save space instead of having all the subforums listed when you click on community chat why not just list them on the main page but when you click on "Community Chat" it would list them but just in size 12 font so you don't have to scroll through a page to get to our general discussion area?
