I have xubuntu loaded on my Macbook Pro. I can't keep it from shutting down when I leave it for a few minutes.
Thank you for any support!

A thing discovered and kept to oneself must be discovered time and again by others. A thing discovered and shared with others need be discovered only the once.
This universe is crazy. I'm going back to my own.
I am not on a Mac Book as such and I don't know what you've already tried from your question so I'll suggest you try looking in the xubuntu desktop right click context menu. Go to Applications > Settings Manager and check all the settings of the "Screensaver" as well as "Light Locker" and the "Power Manager".
There are a couple of xubuntu places screen locking and power management can be set from including the various tabs of power manager or the advanced tab of the screensaver dialog along with light locker. Check the attached screenshot for some of the locations.
From the question I suspect it is set in one of the various settings locations, if it is Mac hardware related then I'd have no idea what is going on. Cheers, yeti.
