Driver problem with Highpoint Rocket 622A

if any one knows of a e-sata card PCI-express based on native AHCI that works with linux Ubuntu 14.04 ... please advise


Hi all
I have a problem with the Highpoint R662A e-sata interface card installed in a shuttle model SHUTTLE F67
this card connects to a Sansdigital 5 bay tower via an e-sata cable
I can only sometimes connect one drive in the tower to the shuttle PC which has has ubuntu 14.04 installed
I am having difficulty maintaining the port replication for the external drives

i get a PME re-validation error reported in the linux terminal session

highpoint support say PMP error indicates that Linux AHCI driver in Ubuntu has compatibility issue with AHCI controller chip on R622A.

anyone with ideas how to fix this problem
