Syncing iPhone with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

    Hi All,

I have recently installed Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on my main laptop. I am trying to sync my iPhone 5 with my laptop but I don't quite understand the process yet. I have tried, but failed.

If someone could kindly explain the process of installing a program like iTunes which is not in the Software Centre, that would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, please ask.

    Many thanks,
    Curtis.

I use a dual boot pc to enable iTunes synch to my iPhone. When I need to use iTunes I boot Windows 7; I also use this for PhotoShop Elements.

iTunes is an Apple program that will install on a Mac and a Windows pc - it will not install directly in Linux

    Hi Pfeiffep,

Thank you for your reply. After checking out your link and doing some more research through Google, I have come to the conclusion that using VirtualBox and Windows would be my best option.

    Thanks again,
    Curtis.
