Not able to install Lubuntu in iBook G4

Hello could anyone please write a set of instructions for installing Lubuntu on iBOOk G4. I received it as an old gift.

There are many instructions, but they are all disorganized and I have not been able to boot the laptop with a USB. The CD drive is completely broken, so the USB is the only option. Thank you.

My problem is these people are all Mac users and they directly use words like "yaboot" and other things. I don't get these words. I have never touched an Apple product before. I request someone to please write a non Apple user's instruction set. Thank you.

Don't you need to enter that screen to boot from the USB? It seems like you are putting the cart before the horse if you are looking for install instructions to install Ubuntu (or any OS) from a USB before you have figured out how to boot a USB on your system.

Most people are trying to install OSX 10.5 but if you scroll down the comments you'll see a poster "silke" respond to an anonymous question about whether the method would work for Ubuntu
