Does it matter that I disabled Apport?

So I was getting a lot of Apport messages and even Apport crashing while trying to function. Firefox also was crashing a lot. Eventually I read a differnent forum post that said to disable it.
After I disabled Apport, Firefox stopped crashing and everything seems to be running fine. Does it matter that I disabled Apport? I mean are there reasons I should worry about that?

Doesn't matter. I always disable it. I thought it should only be on during beta testing. Not sure why it is on by default even after release.

Thanks guys. That confirms what I was thinking. Whenever I used to get Apport reports, it was always for minor stuff that had no impact on what I do. I mean like verbose logging almost. I think Apport might give people the false impression that their install is unstable. Anyways, after I turned it off, Firefox stopped crashing most of the time.

I turn it off with no problems. Although it was kind of interesting getting a message from Apport saying Apport crashed.
