Ubuntu doesn't support Qualcoom Atheros QCA61x4 driver?

Hi, I recently downloaded 14.04 LTS on my Lenovo Z70-80 Windows10(upgraded from 8.1)

Everything is good except Wifi part...

Clearly, networking works because I can use internet when I connect to Ethernet, but when I don't, WiFi symbol doesn't even bother to appear.

I tried b43 driver and killer but obviously they didn't work haha (Im so dumb... I blindly followed what the other people told me to do)

Anyone else had or having this problem and sloved? please help!

    Hi and welcome.

I suggest you start here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=370108
Please post the results of the script if the update/upgrade doesn't solve it.

The brand/model of the laptop doesn't help much because often the same model is equipped with many different WiFi devices (and other hardware). Without knowing exactly what you have no one can help, obviously.
