Question Convert swf files to html5 within GNU/Linux?

    Hi.

Is there a way to convert swf files to html5? I'd rather a native way on Linux, preferably using open-source methods.

    Thanks.

    Hi dino99.

Thanks. It's a pity the file limit is just 3 MB. Perhaps GNU/Linux will sometime have a native method?

I don't know if you're going to find a real easy solution, because swf is a pain in the butt. You may want to try playing the swf file in VLC and using this tool to create a FLV file. http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/pytho...flv/index.html
From there, you should be able to convert fairly easily to whatever you want: http://superuser.com/questions/62456...losing-quality

    Hi Temüjin.

That looks tricky and a bit too arduous.

The swf files I have are soundboards. Is it possible to have them in individual html5 files with the .html file extension?

I have no idea. I was assuming you were talking about video/audio inside .swf
