I cannot find the Log File Viewer in 14.04 LTS. Has it been removed? If it is not installed by default, as in previous versions, how to I install it? It does NOT come up by typing: log in the search box.

Maybe gnome-system-log or ksystemlog are what you want, depending on the DE you use.
