Free Pascal packages for Ubuntu Dapper
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post, but it appears to be the most appropriate. I noticed in the forums that quite a few people have been asking for .deb packages for Free Pascal. I've been wanting the same thing, but couldn't find them anywhere online. There were some older releases in the Debian repository, but I wasn't able to find the latest builds anywhere. I have compiled Free Pascal 2.0.2 directly from the source (32-bit only) and created the .deb packages for Ubuntu Dapper. I do not own a 64-bit CPU, so I was unable to create 64-bit builds (unless someone is prepared to donate a 64-bit CPU and motherboard
The packages can be located at:

I'm using a free host, so I am not sure how reliable it will be, but anyway, enjoy!

Re: Free Pascal packages for Ubuntu Dapper
Free Pascal 2.0.4 has just been released and they are now also releasing official .DEB packages instead of just RPM's. This means that there is no more purpose in me creating new packages for Ubuntu. If you have already installed the 2.0.2 packages I created, it would probably best to uninstall them first, then download the new official 2.0.4 packages from the Free Pascal Sourceforge site:
