Full screen video does not play

Hi, I have Lubuntu on a quite old PC and I'm finding full screen videos (eg Youtube) no longer play. They appear more as a set of stills, but the sound continues as normal. Normal size videos play fine. I only keep this PC as a backup in case my main one goes TU. I only use it for email and a bit of browsing. It has 2 x Pentium 4 3.0GHz CPU with 2067Mb memory and Nvidia Ge-Force FX5500 video card. I know the video card is old but it was perfectly capable of running full screen video in the past. Just wondered if anyone has any ideas.

Think the driver in use is xorg ? There was a legacy propriatory driver from nvidia available, but this is no longer available.

xorg is not the graphic driver what was expected, either 'nouveau' or 'nvidia-xxx'
